Knocking noise on Zanussi Jestsystem 1250 FJS1397W spin cycle?

Anyone out there tell me what the problem might be here and to get access to this issue. Have above machine which is 10 years old. Almost used daily. When drum spins it makes a knocking noise - bushes?. On rotation from inside the washing machine it rotates but seems to catch and grind slightly on the lower part of the rotation. Seems to be a slight resistance.
Anyone got any ideas and where I can get good quality parts at value prices. Regards, Tom Crosby

Sounds like the bearings are worn and the inner drum has dropped, hitting the heater inside the outer drum (if that makes sense). You'll have to replace the bearings pronto before they collapse totally. Its a bit of a job, but doable if youre a bit of a spannerman.
