The dishwasher washed and dryed the contents. The problem I have is the dryer wont go off even when I turn the power switch off. I had to remove the socket from the wall for it to stop. I replaced the socket and the dryer comes on again. Can you help please

are you sure its the dryer you can hear??.normally its the drain pump that runs even when you switch it off.this is because water has leaked into base and set the anti flood switch.drain the water from the base will stop this but if it comes back again as a fault you have a leak and it will need investigating.
