My cooker element packed in and I have got a replacement from SMEG however the old element has a bit on it for fixing the earth wire to but the new element doesnt. I havent got a clue what to do with the earth wire or where to attach it to. Anyone got any ideas????

i take it you have fitted fan element, this type is 1420 watt, two turns, and comes with earth tag. if correct one was supplied.
