Old Celtic 2.20ff rsc?

My Celtic is old but works very well, but the pressure creeps up, if i turn of the cold water feed on the boiler it stops, can you help please?

Main heat exchanger is letting mains cold water into heating system. Doubt very much you would get a new heat exchanger for that appliance. If not, then you will need a new boiler I'm afraid !
