HOW CAN i REPLACE THE HEATER MATRIX IN MY FRONTERA 2.3TDi?

HEATER IN A SECOND HAND FRONTERA IS ONLY BLOWING COLD AIR. i THINK THE HEATER MATRIX NEEDS REPLACING BUT I AM NOT SURE. I HAVE NOW HEARD THAT THIS IS AN EXPENSIVE JOB. HOW DIFFICULT IS IT?

also it has been suggested that it could an airlock in the system so I'll check that too.

Blowing cold air is MUCH more likely to be your coolant thermostat stuck open and they only cost a few pounds.

Replacing a heater matrix is generally a big expensive job. So I'd try replacing the thermostat first.
