WHAT IS THE PROBLEM WITH GEARSTICK?

V REG PEUGEOT BOXER VAN: THE GEARSTICK IS SLOPPY AND CLASHES WITH THE INDICATER AND HEADLIGHT ARMS WHEN I CHANGE INTO 5TH GEAR .THERE IS NO PROBLEM AT ALL WITH THE GEAR BOX DRIVES PERFECTLY ONCE ENGAGED.
