im not sure if i have got this right but im sure it said in the haynes manual for my cav (m reg) when i had that that the sensor is located inside the bumper near the bottom close to the door on the passenger side i may be wrong but im sure its somewhere around that area hope this post helps sorry cant give more detail been a while since had the cav
