The bottom oven in my electric Belling cooker doesn't work?

I can't get the large oven (the bottom oven of the cooker) to work?

When I turn it on the light doesn't come on and no heat is produced. However, the electic hobs and the gril/small top oven both work fine.

The clock keeps flashing and I haven't been able to set it as the buttons are too stiff to press in, any ideas?

I know you said your buttons are stiff, but if you can manage to get the manual button (hand symbol) working and press it your oven should start working
