The catalytic converter is gone on my renault megan, 1998. I have a megan for spare parts on which the cat conv is good so want to change them over. Can anyone help with directions and advice pls?

Take a tip? Take your Renault to an exhaust fitting centre, complete with your other cat. and ask them to do it for you - they have the necessary exhaust sealant and the correct socket spanners to take the old one off with the minimum of fuss. It'll save ages in the long run - believe me.
