why won't the grass go into the grass catcher on my craftsman lt1000 mower?
The Craftsman LT1000 lawn tractor will not pickup the cut grass and shoot it into the grass catcher. The tube from the mowing blades to the catcher keeps plugging up and grass is left all over the lawn. I have cleaned the entire mechanism several time to no avail. It plugs up as soon as I start mowing.
I have an LT1000 and it only blocks up if a) the grass is wet. b) the grassis too thick or c) if I try to cut too much too quickly. I normally find that a. is the problem
