i was just wondering if anybody had as many problems as i did with the ford windstar. i got a short somewhere in the steering wheel so i dont have one turning signal or one brake light. when you move the steering wheel the interior lights come on. when you go into reverse the check transmission light comes on and the overdrive turns off. my two power sliding doors work whenever they feel like it. please help

Unfortunately, you're not alone. I help out a neighbor with the same vehicle, and electrical problems are very common. I bought the official Ford 'Electrical and Vacuum Troubleshooting Manual' for theirs..got it for $20 on ebay...best money ever spent. A co-worker also has one of these vehicles, and has had problems with power windows, AC wiring, and stereo.
