everytime switch on beko wma10w washer on it blows main fuse in fuse box?

everytime i switch on my beko wma10w washer on it has started to blow fuse in main fuse box.2 weeks before this it was making a rough banging noise...can anyone help!!!!

Thats because the edge of the drum has cut through and is short circuiting the heater element.

thanx for your help-dont think its the drum -as soon as i switch socket on. the fuse in main fuse box tripps and thats before the washer even starts

Agree with wirecutterman. most likely sliced and shortcircuited heater. together with needing a new set of bearings it sounds like its going to be beyond economical repair.

sounds like bearing failure causing the drum to drop causing the drum to wear a possible hole in the heater element. no sooner does the machine start to fill blows the main fuse another possible cause could be the main motor either winding fault or armature fault these to will blow the main fuse
