I want to remove the barrel on my ignition?

how do I remove the barrel on my ignition on my 1995 ford transit van, as I need to replace old ignition.

remove top cover on steering collumn put in key and set to I locate small hole above and insert narrow punch ( small drill ,allum key e.g. ) and pull gently on barrel . use replacement barrel as guide.
