help me fix my rover 416 si 1995 please?

here we go!! my car was missing when it was getting warm so i put new leads, plugs, coil pack and dizzy cap on. on the first try of the car it all seemed fine took it up the road and there was no missing, result!!! so i thought but after leaving the car to get up to tempreture the fan cut in and the car cut out!!! now there is no spark!!! even put the old parts on no joy tried all the obvious fusses etc can any body help please thanks.

mine has a Honda engine where can i get a coilpack/distributer from as cheap as possible??? Thanx

right check every single plug under the inlet manifold, i just fitted new engine in a 416si... wturned over fine woth no spark at all and it ended up being the coil lead going from the coil to the distributor

Put your car question in the CARS section and you might get some more help you're in Motor homes and caravans section .

Didn't know cars still used coils that year I thought all cars were electronic ignition. Never had a Rover so this is just a thought!

looking back on my old coil ignition cars check all leads low and high tension from the coil through to the distributer, Check the carbon brush in middle of discap is ok and moving, I've even had new one faulty. Someone in the right section might come up with a solution.
