have just moved to ahouse with veritas alarm panel.previous owner had lost the code.how do Iestablish a new code without the old one? all hell could let loose.

Hi Harry,
You can reset the panel only if the sytem has not been locked by the engineer.
To do this you need to power down the system(remove all power battery & mains)
Then power up mains only, before any tones are heard press reset on the keypad , you'll then here the keypad start to bleep,
Enter the user code 4321
The engineer code is 1234
Reconnect the battery and secure the front.
You'll need to reprogram the system , I can send you a manual in pdf format.
