No hot water from my electric shower since fitting a combi boiler?

I had a combi boiler fitted in November and the same day, my electric Triton T80si shower stopped giving hot water. The plumber fitting my boiler didn't know why and didn't find the problem. The shower did not show low pressure on the indicator and the flow rate remained good. Now a new plumber replaced the shower with another (as I figured it must be broke) and this one has no hot water either and the plumber measured half a bar pressure in the shower, not enough to kick the shower into producing heat. He suggested I contact the water board. What to do? I wish I hadn't bought a brand-new shower and thrown good money after bad now...

well if you had got a proper plumber who new how to do electric showers then they could of advised you before spending.
common practise is to check the pressure on your mains before anything else,
which needs to be at least 1 bar. to operate the heating elements micro switch.
if the whole house has low pressure then the man who fitted the combi should of known this.
check with the water company it is their duty to supply you with good pressure.
