i stay in glasgow and my economy heating broke on sunday.. the switch comes on when it is supposed to but no heat comes to the radiator. it was working fine till sunday. would an electrician be able to fix it or would i need a heating engineer??

you probably just need to RESET THE THERMAL SWITCH located inside the top of the storage heater power off remove the lid look for a button type switch and press, refit the top turn on the power and WAIT for the time clock to kick in
Hint this normally happens when clothes are put on the heater to dry or air covering the vents.
