What do the fault codes mean for a Hotpoint Aquarius FDW20 Dishwasher?

The first two light are flashing on my Hotpoint Aquarius FDW20 Dishwasher rapidly and its stopped working? (Prewash and wash) Any ideas please?

Lights 1 and 4 flashing on mine... Phoned Hotpoint and they said "its a software malfunction"

Lights 2 and 4 (wash and drying) mean fault with the heater element. If you live in a hard water area this may be caused by a build-up of limescale, so before calling an engineer, try repeated cycles with a limescale remover first to see if you can shift some of the grot.

Hi, had a similar problem with ours. After speaking to an engineer, he suggested, unplug the dishwasher, wait approx 20 seconds. Then plug back in. This apparently can "reset" the default settings. After we done this, we used a good quality cleaner, and Hey Presto! back to normal. Hope this helps, good luck.
