Hotpoint CDT80 blowing the trip in my fuse box?

Hotpoint CDT80...why oh why did I buy it?!!!

It's only 18 months old and doesn't have a hard life, only used 2 or 3 times a week. About a week ago it started popping the rcd on my distribution board, it usually happened about 5 minutes into the cycle. Tried it again last night and it's now trigering the rcd as soon as I press "start". What's this likely to be? Has anyone had a similar problem?

Cheers guys

Thank you Roger, looks like it's the heater element.

Cheers.

Disconnect the heater element and see if the RCD stays on if so change element
