they never fitted that engine in the cavalier it was an izuzu engine and the marks are completely different. bolts holes for the cam and punp and 12 o'clock for the crank.

Hi paula, I just found under astra cam belt diesel the following for timing marks;;ON TOP PULLEY A SLOT OTHER END OF SHAFT,PUMP SMALL 8mmHOLE FOR A SCREW, TDC ON RING GEAR,( remove g/box bottom cover ), Hope this is helpful.
