about the clutch?

i put new oil in the bike {motul 5100 ester 10w40 technosynthese} it has helped alot but still a bit in it .To drive it is alot better to. It jumps when i put it in first , but i can do it with out waiting for the bike to warm up. If i start the bike in first its ok . when i changed the oil i found nothing in the old oil.It was in a shed for a while and a mate told me it could be just sticking . The bike sounds a lot better now but the clutch is still not prefect

Check that the drive chain is properly adjusted and not to slack, cause if this is to slack it will cause the bike to jump(make sure the Chain and sprockets r in good condition not worn and keep it well lubed). If the bike lying 4 a long time i would change the chain and sprocket as a matter of course cause. Their could be a seized link and that can put undue strain on gearbox bearings.

Hi John......you've a little bit of clutch drag there. What you need to do now is make sure that the clutch cable and pushrod are correctly adjusted. Do you need instructions on how to do that?
