2001.5 VW Passat Turn signals?

Both turn signals stopped working. The arrow may light up once and thats it. The emergeny lights flash inconsistently(sometimes quicker then back to normal). All turn signal light bulbs work with emergency flash button

Get a new hazard light switch , or take the switch out and tap it firmly in your hand
