Proform Crosswalk Incline Stuck?

I bought a used Proform Crosswalk treadmill and the incline is stuck in the highest position. I took the cover off and there were four wires disconnected from the incline motor. Once I plugged the wired back in the incline still won't work but made a loud noise. Took the wires off again and the noise quit but of course the incline still doesn't move.

I use the treadmill to exercise an old dog with arthritis. Snows a lot in Utah and the snow and cold aggravates his arthritis making it easier to put him on the treadmill a couple of times a day.

Point being I don't need incline at all...is there a way to bypass the incline and just get it down to a flat level?? I don't need it to incline so don't really want to have to replace the motor or any other expensive repair...just wonder if there is a way to manually lower the incline and leave it there.

Thanks much!

Can you take a picture of the wires and the lower board and email them to me
We may be able to reverse the wires to bring it down.
You may have a stuck button on your keypad
