How to repair a NCVT gearbox?

What does it cost approximately to repair a NCVT gearbox?
I have a 1997 Nissan Micra 1.3 with a NCVT gearbox.
The ncvt light on the dashboard goes off but the gearshifter has no effect at all. No gears are engaged.
Can you help?
