I have a new shape vectra with the onboard computer with the control by the steering wheel (on the wiper switch)... but the buttons for the computer do not work so I can't switch through modes or get warnings off the screen when they appear. Any ideas what the problem could be?

i have a vauxhall vectra 1.8 s reg sri and the computer face which show the clock , radio station and outside temparture is scrambled. how can i mend it ?
