adminstrator on my laptop?

Little fingers at home were messing around with my laptop. as a consequence my user id has been changed from administrator to limited. How can i get this back to administrator?

Firstly - go to the 'user accounts' icon in your control panel. Check to see if you can reset your access lvl here.
If this fails, follow the below instructions:
Boot your laptop into safe mode
(Do this by pressing F8 while the machine starts up)
When you have selected 'safe mode' you will ultimately be presented with a variation of your normal logon screen.
Click on 'Administrator'
Once the machine has logged on, go to the user accounts section in the CP.
Reset the privelidge lvl for your account
Restart and log on
Job Done

Note:
I've assumed you are running on Windows XP
I've also assumed that there is no Administrator password.
Don't panic about the 'iffy' graphics whilst in safe mode.
