i cannot programme the dishwasher?

The buttons do not respond when proGrammed Sometimes they start the programme then it stops, The machine was purchased from john lewis and I believe is Electrolux JLDWW1201

press and hold start pause button until it resets (3-5 sec).now retry and see if it works.let us know how you get on
