I'hv a digital camera u700, Olympus.When i press the power button in shooting mode, the lens comes out irregularly, sometimes it stops from being coming out, in the LCD screen some blurred image appears, then the lens retracted and a message appears in the LCD screen as:

hello, I am getting the same issue. we have an Olympus 7.1 u700 as well and I have been calling the blue screen the 'blue screen of death'... has anyone a way to fix it or where to send to fix? I suspect that one of the gears for focusing is broken.
