i bought myself a 1995 Vauxhall corsa merit the other day i put the key in the ignition and turned and my ignition came on but the engine wouldnt start, it was as if the key was in the ignition position 2, just battery power, i turned the key to the off position and took it out but all my dash lights stayed on and i could still turn all my lights, fan, indicators, heater, wipers, radio ect on, as if the key was in the ignition position (II) now the key just goes in and turns but i get nothing and i cant turn the ignition off, anyone know whats wrong with my car help :(

your ignition barrel is broke,ive had to take ignition barrell to bits just to switch off the power,best take it to a garage if its worth fixing
