Hi People,

Looking for a little advice regarding my Jinlun 125-11. It kicks in and comes to life ok, but the second I turn the throttle it dies completely. I have very limited knowledge of bikes, so any advice would be appreciated.

Hi all I know this is a late post to this but I had the same prob with my Jinlun 125-12, turned out it was the rubber pipes going to the sucktion valve on the fuel line, they had perrished and cracked causing a lack of fuel, I replaced pipes and repositioned them to hold them away from the engine block, (heat speeds up the perishing), and all is fine. i have exactly the same problem, your bike needs its low range jet adjusted and the carbrettas probably need balanced. i get mine running and after about an hour i get the same symptoms.

sounds like the choke is stuck on? you will need to take a look or get some one to look for you.regards mark

I haven't got a jinny but have read a lot about its quirks. If you have a 2007 or earlier, their is an ugly pipe from the left exhaust to the carb, this twists gums up etc, most people just cut it off and claen out the the airbox, but others prefer to neatly blank it off. The other problem is carb icing look on the Jinny owners forum and get the name of an additive that goes into the petrol. Their is absolutely loads of Jinny owner support dont forget to keep tightening the nuts & bolts every week or use Nylocks and use anti rust after every wash or your bike will disintegrate before your eyes.

mine did exactly this. cured with new plugs and choke/ idle adjustment. now i have problems with running mega rich.
