Menvier TS510 not sounding?

My siren/strobe is not activating when triggered although the panel siren works well.

Reset to manufacturer default did not cure it. Removing the bell box fuse in the control panel caused siren to sound.

I have a multimeter and some electrical experience but would appreciate any help on where to start please

Hi Rob

Thanks for your information.

I was reluctant to open the bell-box and investigate as the siren would probably startup (tamper !!) and I have no idea how to silence it ; ) and dont want it going off in my earhole lol ))

Hi John, the bell box has a permanent 12 volt supply called a hold off if you remove it it will self actuate and cause the bell to ring thats what happened when you removed the fuse is my guess.
You need to check the trigger -12 volt and a + to see if its sending power if it is then its either a fault in the bell box or a broken wire to it.
