Where can I find steering rack for Vauxhall Corsa?
Vauxhall Corsa 1.2 52 plate failed its MOT as the steering rack has "excessive play". The dealer has waiting list of 300+ people for this part and i need car for work.
Does anyone know where I can get this part quickly and fitted without me having to sell a kidney to do so please??
Its an electric box steering rack if that means anything to anyone??!!
I have a 54 plate corsa check the steering rack ends first they are only about a tenner to buy, had one of mine done yesterday, it had alot of play, like a bag of spanners. all seems ok now..

Ye gods a failed rack on a 52 plate?? If Vauxhall can't supply, try a motor factors such as Euro Car Parts. No connection with the electric PAS and the worn rack though - although there are other steering parts that can display the same symptom.
