The same happened to me with this freezer..it sounds like the fan is frozen up, and not blowing cold air through the vents at the top. You have to completely defrost it!!! When you can take everything out and turn off for 48hrs. There is a plastic vessel at the back of the freezer at the bottom...this will start to fill with water..make sure it doesn't overflow.....sponge it out. After 48hrs turn back on...place a .dish of water at the bottom abd top of the freezer. The fan should be working now. If the fan is not working Hoover will have to replace it.If it works ok now I would repeat this every 4 months!! Good luck ....Colin.
