Our washing machine timer cuts out when we first start a washing machine cycle. we get to 35 mins, then 34 minutes then the timer cuts out all together. can you help?

almost certainly NOT the timer causing the problem. Check and rule out all other possibilities such as pressure switch, heater, thermostat, motor etc. before considering the timer. Theyre pretty sturdy items not prone to frequent failure and quite expensive.
