Volvo 850 saloon 2ltr petrol need to switch off service light but dont have the tool .The ttool only shorts a couple of the pins out in the block but i cant find witch ones.

Hi Matt, this is the method:-
switch ignition on,
connect the fly lead on diagnostic socket to pin 7
press the button 4 times
system is ready when LED comes on
to reset code 1-5-1
press button once
when LED illuminates press button 5 times
when LED illuminates press button once
LED should flash repeatedly to indicate code accepted
service light should now be out!
