Headlights are dazzling other road users?

Vauxhall Astra 97 The headlights are dazzling other road users. The motor on the lights does not work which move them up and down. Would I need a fuse if so where would I find it. Thank you

Check that you have full beam and dipped beam in both headlights just in case you have a short ie running on full beam instead of dipped. I would then check your drivers handbook or fuse panel. Some fuses cover more than one unit in a car. If the fuse is shared you will know if other items are not working. Usually in the fuse panel there are a couple of spares, which you can swap - providing it is not rated higher (amps) than the existing fuse. The fuses are colour coded. It may be that the motor has seized or failed. There is usuallya motor for each headlight. Hope this helps. Failing that the beam height may just need resetting - most tyre/exhaust fitters offer this facility.
