How do I modify my Whirlpool AWZ 650 condensing tumble dryer?

My tumble dryer has quite a loud buzz on it. This comes on intermmitently for the last 5 minutes of the drying cycle. Its perfectly normal, and I assume its there to inform the user that the cycle has nearly finished. The dryer is in a communal area close by the television. To make matters worse the buzzing sound is exactly the same as the buzzer on my front door. Most nights myself or one of my flat mates hears it and goes to answer the door. How would I go about locating the buzzer and disconnecting it?

Chris, I suggest that you collect the ear plugs which you left in Edinburgh last year and distribute them to your friends then they would not hear the buzzing. Alternatively you could buy a door knocker
