I've got a hotpoint dwf80 dishwasher and from time to time it flashes up al10 error code does any one know what this code means

According to the Hotpoint information Line (08701 50 60 70) AL10 means it needs a service - it could be one of 4 or 5 things wrong including a problem with the heating exchange - and a number of other things I didn't understand! - Basically the nice lady on the phone said that this needs an engineer!
