I want to know which type of graphics card slot I have. Could someone please explain to be how to identify which type of slot it has by describing them.

You have brown or orange slots (depending on configeration) which are AGP slots. Other slots are white which are PCI slots.
DO NOT put your graphics card in a black ISA slot if you have them, causes permanent damage to mo`bo and grafix card.

Get the program "Belarc Advisor" and run it. It will tell you all of the Boards, programs, etc. that you have on your computer. This will tell you what graphics card(s) you have.

You generally get two types of Graphic cards slots in a normal PC. The first is an AGP slot which is quite short and sits at the top of your upgrade slots. When opening your PC it will sit about halfway up your motherboard. The second type is a PCI slot. This is longer than the AGP slot. There are usually about 4 or 5 of them on the motherboard. They all look the same. These are usually used for USB slot upgrades, etc. On my motherboard the PCI slots are white plastric and the AGP slot is dark (brown I think). Hope this helps
