Hi, I have broken a blade in my Powerperformance jigsaw. i have tried to release the small end piece left in there, but cannot get it out. Using the tool-less blade release does not sort my problem. I have stripped the saw down but it still does not give me access to the blade release catch, any idea's?

with the tool clamp in the open position gently tap the shaft with a hammer. tapping the shaft should cause the bit left to start moving in the opposite direction which is out of the shaft.
