how do i remove starter motor on 1.4 mk3 golf?

do you have to remove the bracket first?

Hi Taz The bracket is an engine mounting so that you have to support the engine first at that point. You can then undo the bolts of the starter. You have to of course disconnect battery and the cables as well.
