condensing tumble dryer keeps cutting out?

I have a white knight condensing tumble dryer, the heating element keeps tripping, we have to keep resetting it by pressing the red disk on the back, is there any way to stop this from tripping?

clean the condensor out and make sure it is not all fluffed up.its silver bit on bottom left corner behind flap.pull the whole unit out and wash it with a hose pipe until it is clear.
