will the /Exhaust Boost Pressure Valve/Sensor stop my van starting

Valve gaps will change radically after the head is bolted down. They will have closed, thus altering the timing.

my 1.9tdi vivaro has just had the injector changed and now it wont start!!
does anyone know what the problem could be please

I have had same problem. Bought this 55 Vivaro 1.9 DI with u/s engine. Found cam belt broken & 2 valves bent. Had head rebuilt professionally with new valves, skim, clearances set etc. New Gates cam belt. Found locating key broken in cam pulley. New cam pulley fitted.
All went back together ok, timing marks on belt set up ok. Turned engine over by hand (without heater plugs) & found it Ok. Bled the fuel system with priming bulb ok. When we turned the engine on the starter, we could see fuel & bubbles going into the injector pump, bled air at injectors. But it will not start. Have tried once on easystart & it runs (lumpy of course) so I assume mechanicals are OK.

First dont use cheap timing belt begining with Da.. chose "Gates". Timing is done with marks on belt not casing can be notch out, cos marks not accuret on belt ! Also check cam sprocket key is not damaged putting timing out . I bet it will run for 3-4 sec if airo start is put in ? if so head will need to come off fit new valves, cam sprocket, belt, gask, making shure to grind new valves in etc,. Check if head needs scimed, Not an easy job take lights out, and front of van, rad, intercooler, etc,. space is so limited???? For what I just said -Parts £250 from dealer. Thats cos its a Renault engine! good luck
