How can I fix my JLTDC05 Type P542266 Prod 9160927040condenser tumble dryer?

When I select a programme the Drying, Cooling and End lights illuminate: the programme time displays and the Start/Pause light starts to flash. However when I press the Start/Pause button nothing happens and the machine does not start operating.

there is a plastic diffuser behind the buttons that you press and they break off,so when you press the button on the fascia it doesn't connect with button on pcb board.lid off and whole front fascia will have to come off to replace broken part
