 Hi I have a Samsung Refrigerator /Freezer from GB RS21DCNS I am in France, I got the samsung agent to look at it he fitted a new control board still the same fault if you switch off the power then back on as in a power cut it will not start just a flash of the LED part of the number 8 top on the right fridge side cotrol pannel if you flick the internal lights on and off a few times it sometimes comes back on and works OK any idea Thanks Geoff Langford

Same thing has been troubling us for a while now so many companies round to look at it until i got lucky and found these guys in which local www.agsrefrigeration.co.uk they service the london and surrey postcodes they came out found and rectified fault on the spot all working fine since.

Yes same problem
After power cut lights on control panel flashing fridge freezer not working.
Holding the 2 buttons for 8 seconds resets the controls, now working properly.

I had switched off the fridge freezer last night by miistake couldnt get it to switch back on.

Hello Geoff, if you press and hold the power freeze and power cool buttons at the same time for 8 seconds it will take it from test mode
