RPC Server Unavailable?
I have Windows Media Center (which is XP) OEM version that gives this message: RPC Server Unavailable, Windows Installer service could not be accessed. I am trying to load software from a CD. Most software fails although some does load. I've checked to make sure the RPC program exists and is started. Also I have SP2 installed. Any help is greatly appreciated.
