I have the same model. I've not replaced the idle and speed screws. I thought the spark plug wire might have been cut through since it was cut almost half-way through. So, I bought a new coil and installed that. Now I've also installed a new plug as well. Tested and I get spark, but, still no go. I removed and cleaned the air filter and cleaned out the carb with some cleaner. I also tried backing of and tightening the main adjustment screw (large phillips) but have no idea what it's supposed to be set to (oops, should have counted turns in the first place) I think it may have just been the dirty/clogged filter all along. Anyway, got spark and plug seems wet, but assume the mix is off now. What's that screw supposed to be set to? Any other ideas? This is killing me!

Thanks,
Joel

SCREW BOTH NEEDLES DOWN VERY CAREFUL UNTIL THEY STOP.NOTE DO NOT USE FORCE,JUST SCREW THEM IN EASY.NOW BACK OUT NEEDLES 1 1/4 TURNS EACH AND SEE IF THAT WILL SOVE YOUR PROBLEM.
