i have good spark at the plug and petrol but i cant start it ,has fired a?

i have a mccuogh chainsaw agood spark at the plug and i have put petrol down plug hole but still wont start ,but it has fired afew times throw the carb.

I would guess (wild guess) that your fuel line(s) have gone south. The fuel lines do sort of dissolve after a few years and need to be replaced.

i have a still disc saw it starts ok but stops after while and then i have to waite agood while to start it again please can enyone help thank you.
