How can i fix my combi boiler, Vokera excell, 80 SP?

The boilers pilot light works but the motorised valve allowing the main gas in does not open for heating or hot water. I presume the answer lies within the electric side of the boiler. i cannot imagine the room stat and the flow switch have gone at the same time. Can anyone help?

Try cleaning the fan blades. (power off) Do it in its position.Spray water on the blades & clean with a narrow brush. Then clean the hole in the flu chamber where the the sillicon hoses go. If all else fails.. leave the front off, get the boiler to ask for heat/water and suck on the silicon hose,( the one to the vacume switch) if it fires.. replace the vac switch if not then you will need an engineer.

try blowing into the plastic tube connected to the air flow switch at the top of the boiler (looks like a round disk with 2 rubber tubes coming from it)

The solenoid gas valve is only operated once the air pressure switch has told the boiler that the fan and flues are OK, and the boiler flow switch has told it that the water is circulating. If the fan, pump or switches don't work it won't turn on the gas.
