How can I fix my cannon camberley double oven clock/timer?

I had a powercut on Friday night for approx 1 hour and since then the timer has been unable to set. I can set the clock to the present time, but as soon as I try to set the auto timer for cook period or end time the numbers seem to fade and all sorts of numbers appear!! Also the minute minder does work, but once the time is up the present time is scrambled. Is this a result of the power failure? Major coinsidence if not. Also can you buy a new clock/timer working piece? The electricity company are also getting a call!

need to clear the A mode from the clock/timer

Hi - I have a similar issue with my Cannon Camberley - we had a power cut and the timer justs displays a small 'A' (automatic mode I think) and I am unable to take it out of this mode, I have tried pressing the 'cook period' and end time' buttons together and then the + and - buttons but nothing happens.....eventually approx 24 hours later, the clock has gone to 23.59 and the A has gone out - GREAT! I thought, now all I need to do is just change the time! Tried pressing the cook period and end time buttons together again and the - button to change the clock backwards and the A button has dome on again!!!!

I've read the manual and tried all the things to take it out of A mode, but nothing seems to work - Can anyone help me please?
